Break Up song

Verse: We used to laugh at nothing, staying up to late

Talking forever about our fate

I used to always trace your name

thought you felt it too

but somewhere in silence, I started losing you.

Chorus:

So I try to let go, but it hurts inside

You said words that burnt but I just let it slide

I’ll find my way without you

and I’ll learn to be okay

This is where it ends and I walk away.

Verse 2:

Now your words are distant,

like this faded song

I kept holding on when I knew I was wrong

I won’t beg for moments you don’t give

So I’m choosing me now,

this is how I live.

First Date Song

Verse:

I’ve watched you from a distance

Like a story I don’t know

Wondered what it’d be like

To finally say hello

Chorus:

Now I’m sitting right across from you

Trying not to stare

Everything I’ve dreamed about

Feels closer than it was before

But all I want tonight

Is to be part of your world

Wouldn’t you think I’m the girl?

Verse 2:

As the night starts fading out

Streetlights painted gold

I don’t know where this could lead

But I’m hoping I get to know

Important Parts of your world.

Personal Post 2 – Red head

My red hair comes from my great grandma. Growing up I had very curly hair and it was bright red. People never thought much of it because it was just a normal hair color. As I grew up it got really long, so I decided to chop it off and donate it. Then I had a Bob and I realized I was never going to do that again. As it grew out and I got to middle school I started getting bullied for it being red. It was so weird because people always told me they loved it. It would really bother me and I became really insecure about having red hair. Today I like my hair but most people just notice me as the “redhead” but I have better things about me too.

Winter Poem

Winter is my favorite season

There are many reasons

I love the cold weather

Then I get to wear a sweater

The sky turns gray before the night

and the streetlights flicker glowing bright

I pull my sweater extra tight

Walking with frost beneath my sight.

Personal Post (golf)

I joined golf my sophomore year of high school but I have played a little since I was young. My dad used to watch tournaments on TV, and I loved watching Tiger Woods. I have always thought it was interesting. I never pictured playing for school, but after I quit volleyball I wanted something to do. I joined the year there was a new coach so I was very nervous since I didn’t have much practice and have never met him before. So I practiced and practiced and actually got okay at it then started enjoying it.  Wheeling Park Golf Course | Oglebay Golf Resort
